Pipes and Tubes
Monel pipes are a solid solution of nickel and copper. This alloy is hardened through cold processing and resists corrosion in various conditions. Monel pipes are unique in their ability to exhibit minimal corrosion across all application environments, making this alloy an ideal nickel-based superalloy. At high temperatures, Monel pipes provide good mechanical properties. Their strength and hardness are enhanced while maintaining a minimum loss of ductility or impact strength. Notably, Monel 400 does not undergo brittle transformation when exposed to temperatures as low as liquid hydrogen.
